The RF-S 55-210mm f/5-7.1 IS STM is equipped with a lead-screw type stepping motor (STM) to allow for smooth and quiet autofocus, making a great option for video content.

The RF-S 55-210mm f/5-7.1 IS STM has 4.5 stop Image Stabilization and in conjunction with selected EOS R series camera, can achieve up to 7.0 stops coordinated control IS. The RF-S 55-210mm f/5-7.1 IS STM works hand-in-hand with cameras equipped with focus breathing correction when recording videos. This allows you to adjust focus without altering the field of view, essentially scaling the frame for natural looking footage.
As well as an increased focal length at the telephoto end, the RF-S 55-210mm f/5-7.1 IS STM has a minimum focusing distance of 73cm allowing you to use the lens for close up photography to capture beautiful details.
